Nicholas and George were cousins and looked like they could be brothers.
The caption refers to them as “royal brothers in arms,” because they were allies in the first World War.

Are you kidding me? Anne Boleyn was many things, but one thing she certainly was not was stupid. Catherine Howard, one the other hand, was.

HSH Princess Alice of Battenberg, later HRH Princess Andrew of Greece and Denmark. Mother of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Princess Alice was actually really remarkable. When she was a toddler her parents realized that she was deaf, but her mother Princess Victoria of Battenberg taught her to read lips and she was instructed not to interrupt if she did not understand a conversation. She was told to wait until she picked it up again herself. She was able to function so normally that most people had no idea that she could not hear!
