A never before seen dress made for and worn by Queen Victoria is now on display in the Victoria Revealed exhibition at Kensington Palace.  The cream silk satin dress, with intricate embroidery, was given to the young Queen in the 1850s by the wife John Gregory Crace.

Want. I love finding out that historical figures were about the same size as me! I recently found out that Harriet Beecher Stowe was exactly the same height as me, too.

I believe Kates parents continue to help her financialy, not only charles, Carole has helped to purchase many supplies for george, including his £3,000 stroller. Her mother also purchased her wedding dress and the £ 700,00 flat she was living in before moving in with William. The middletons have become very wealthy over the years, the business was a blessing for Kate to fit into her Royal life a bit smoother. Carole also purchased the flat Pippa lives in. She has very selfless parents, thank god!

I don’t know, I find it hard to believe that William and the rest of the family would feel comfortable with her parents still helping her financially. Wedding dress and baby gifts are completely different from money to buy groceries, household items, etc.

And it does make sense that they would help her get a flat as she was not married then. As for Kate working for the family, I don’t know anything about that.

I am sorry, but what child truly needs at stroller that costs 3000 pounds?! I get that it was a gift, but there are $250 ones that are probably just as nice.
